Fileturn were appointed to complete a fast track fit-out project for the upmarket Thai restaurant, Patara, in London’s West End. A large proportion of the work carried out on this project was focused on structural alterations to the existing building.
These alterations allowed us to install a feature staircase in the dining area and a food hoist for kitchen use. Further structural work included an extensive excavation of large areas of the basement in order to allow additional underground drainage. As Patara is surrounded by residential property, another important aspect of the renovation was sound proofing this lively Thai restaurant.
After completing the structural refurbishments, the high quality bespoke finishes that had been specified throughout were installed. This included marble floor and wall finishes, polished plaster, gold anodised metalwork, timber panelling fabric panels and antique mirrors.
