DoubleTree by Hilton Coventry

Earlier this year Hilton Hotels undertook a programme of works to revamp the look of their Coventry site.

Fileturn were appointed to carry out the refurbishment of the public areas following a successful partnership on other Hilton sites.

Structural alterations were made to the bar area to accommodate a new scheme by Design LSM: a new glazed balustrade was installed to the perimeter of the raised floor area and a new access point with steps was formed.

The remodelled reception saw Fileturn’s craftsmen refurbish and polish the existing reception desks to give a more contemporary look.

As part of the investment, the restaurant area was rebranded as The Larder, and the space reworked to accommodate a private dining area. A new servery was formed in an alcove next to the kitchen with improved access for waiting staff.

All the public areas received new feature dimmable lighting, flooring and decoration.

As always in a programme of this kind, Fileturn’s professional team worked in close partnership with the hotel management to minimise disruption to staff and guests.
