Hilton London Olympia

After the success of completed works on Hilton’s Bath and Heathrow hotels, Fileturn was commissioned to refurbish the public areas of Hilton’s London Olympia site, within a tight schedule and with only one week’s lead time.

Works consisted of the full refurbishment of the bar, restaurant, servery, main reception and lobby as well as the creation of a new shop.

All work had to be undertaken in three phases to minimise disruption, as the hotel remained open throughout. Particularly challenging was the reception area, as the bespoke reception counter with inset backlit marble panel was fitted and the marble floor was lifted and relaid.

A new bespoke staircase, wall panelling, floor tiling, and ceilings were fitted, all areas were rewired, including new LED coffered lighting and a new sprinkler system was installed.

The existing bar was replaced with a bespoke wenge and mirror fronted bar with a zinc top and LED backlighting. All existing banquette seating was replaced and additional seating was added.
