The Chesterfield Mayfair

The Chesterfield was the first property purchase for the Red Carnation Hotels’ portfolio in 1984. Since then, they have acquired 12 other properties worldwide, all with four or five star accreditation.

Each unique property has it’s own character and style. The four star Regency style Chesterfield is designed to be ‘quintessentially British’, with fabrics that reflect the pinstripes of nearby Saville Row and florals of an English country garden.

Red Carnation Hotels appointed Fileturn to refit their landmark hotel bedrooms and bathrooms with a design theme created by Red Carnation’s own Project Director, Brian Brennan.

The opulent finishes included bespoke marble vanity units, with marble wall and floor tiling to the bathrooms, and speciality fabric wall coverings. The hotel remained open throughout the works, with rooms being renovated next to occupied rooms.
