Busaba

Thai chain Busaba takes a holistic approach to its restaurants, blending quality food with high spec interiors and original artwork for a stylish dining experience.

The London-based restaurant group commissioned Fileturn to fit out three new eateries: at Panton Street, Old Street and the Westfield shopping centre at Shepherds Bush.

The restaurants share an Eastern-influenced design in keeping with the Thai food, featuring slate walls in bronze frames and polished Iroko tables and bench seating.

The use of high quality materials continues in the toilets, where slate walls contrast with white Corian sinks, produced bespoke by Fileturn’s South West division which is an accredited Corian manufacturer.

Busaba used the fit-out period to create contemporary artworks. They used the hoardings at Old Street to display work by graphic designers, photographers and illustrators, and commissioned a series of short films by art students to mark the opening of the Panton Street restaurant.
