Caravan, Canary Wharf

Following  the successful installation of Vardo in Chelsea, Fileturn were commissioned to work with Navarac to create another eatery - Caravan in Canary Wharf.

The project included a full strip-out and new drainage, kitchen, WCs, restaurant and bar area. Bespoke joinery was made to create a private dining room, a host station, waiter stations and a front and back bar. We also installed the restaurant’s banquette seating adjacent to a false brick dwarf wall.

Walls were treated with a coloured course lime plaster to a create a rustic yet calming environment.

Deploying an experienced team who have worked on numerous projects in Canary Wharf meant liaising with the on site facilities management team to carefully plan deliveries to / from site was straight-forward. This logistical aspect was especially important given that there is a pedestrianised area directly outside the main entrance as well as other bars and restaurants in the surrounding units.
