Gifto's Lahore Karahi

Serving traditional Lahore cuisine, Gifto’s has become famous throughout the local community and indeed throughout the South. Such so, that this existing restaurant simply could not close due to its amazingly high occupancy throughout the day and night, seven days a week.

The owners turned to Fileturn to provide a ‘design and build’ solution. This gave our client the piece of mind of having a guarantee maximum price contract, with single point responsibility for all aspects of the design, consent (planning permission & building control), programme and cost control. This approach ‘de-risks’ the client’s position and lead to a highly successful project.

Working to our client’s budget, we provided a bespoke design to refurbish the existing site including all construction and fit-out works, mechanical and electrical installations, staircases, shopfronts, furniture, fixtures, fittings and finishes.

Working at night to enable the restaurant to continue trading for the whole contract programme for all but one week, we executed the works over two floors in four phases, maintaining access for the staff and public at all times.
