Fileturn were selected to produce a fit-out of Rosa’s Thai Café, found in one of the largest shopping malls in London: Westfield, Stratford.
The team encountered the usual difficulties with working in a shopping centre, made more challenging as the surrounding units and the centre itself were being fitted out at the same time. Deliveries and inductions for personnel had to be booked well in advance. The Rosa’s unit was relatively small, requiring some hard work with the designers to make everything fit in perfectly.
Westfield was due to be opening for the Olympic Games but the main development was behind schedule. A set-in-stone opening date increased pressure placed on the Fileturn team to finish the fit-out on time. However, the team rose to the challenge and pulled through to achieve an extremely successful completion.
