The Happenstance, London

Fileturn continue to build on their successful working relationship with the privately owned Drake & Morgan bar group, as they continue to expand across a number of key London sites.

The latest offering, The Happenstance, in St Paul’s Churchyard is an 8,000 square foot unit that Fileturn has transformed into a split level bar and restaurant, with a large private dining room in the airy basement.

Specialist floor, wall and ceiling finishes were installed throughout, comprising intricate mosaic and ceramic tiling, reclaimed timber flooring and metal cladding, with reclaimed timber used for the floor, wall and ceiling in the private dining room.

Fusion’s distinctive design required attention to detail and many bespoke items: timber wall panelling, bars and backbars, banquette seating, furniture, door-sets; wall finishes with brick slips, ceramic tiling, mosaic tiling, ornate tin panelling; ceilings in concrete, timber panelling, MF ceilings; worktops of in-situ concrete, stainless steel, marble.

Fileturn’s experienced team meant the project was handed over on time.
